Hagworthingham-based bridal designer Sanyukta Shrestha nominated for Wedding Outfit Designer of the Year and Wedding Boutique of the Year Award

Could a fashion designer be crowned best in the country for the third time after being nominated for two national awards?

Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards 2024 has announced the UK’s leading sustainable bridal designer Sanyukta Shrestha as a finalist for Wedding Outfit Designer of the Year and Wedding Boutique of the Year.

With stores in London and Hagworthingham, the Nepalese-born fashion expert, who lives in Hagworthingham in the Lincolnshire Wolds, has focused on sustainable luxury since the first launch of her eco-friendly brand in 2011, giving her an edge over her competitors and leading her to win a number of awards.

“Winning this prestigious award in 2020 and 2023 was an unforgettable moment and being voted by the brides for this nomination again has added another milestone for our brand,” Sanyukta said.

“This achievement is dedicated to all those who have been part of our journey.”

As well as winning Britain’s Asian Wedding Award twice, Sanyukta was given the PETA Luxury Vegan Wedding Award and is the first designer of Nepali origin to have her design in The Fashion Museum since the 16th century.

The Winner will be announced at an event in the Crowne Plaza, Birmingham, on Tuesday (March 5).
