Rock The Lakes festival at Tattershall Lakes holiday park sees record-breaking year for owners Away Resorts over the weekend

Thousands of people flocked to a holiday park over the weekend for live music and entertainment.

Rock The Lakes festival made a grand return to Tattershall Lakes Holiday Park this weekend, setting a new record for park owners Away Resorts.

Saturday’s festivities reached full capacity with a crowd of 2,300 gathered to watch former JLS member Marvin Humes headlining the lakeside stage.

Families and friends, who managed to avoid the poor weather that plagued other events from Friday until Sunday, made the park’s busiest week ever in terms of food and drinks sold.

“The festival was an undisputed success, with amazing shows from acts such as Woody Cook, U2UK, Little Chix, and Definitely Oasis wowing at the lakeside stage, and a silent disco and kids house party taking the family stage by storm,” said a spokesperson for Away Resorts
