Lincolnshire Police appeal after armed robber takes cash from Post Office in Horncastle
A Post Office has been struck by an armed robber.
A person wearing a balaclava, and thought to have been carrying a knife, took cash from the premises in Market Place, Horncastle yesterday (July 22).
The incident is believed to have taken place around 2.40pm.
“We are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at the Post Office, in Horncastle,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
“The person is thought to have left the area on a push bike, in the direction of Mill Lane, along the side of Tesco.
“They are reported to have been wearing blue joggers and black trainers.”
“We are investigating this incident and your help could prove crucial.”
