Sutterton schoolgirl was off to Africa in 2011 and Spalding-area Army Cadets won contest




Teenagers from Holbeach, Spalding and Billingborough were part of a nine-strong team taking Lincolnshire to victory in the Army Cadet Force counties competition at Thetford’s military training area 10 years ago.

Teenager Keziah Cawkwell received a cheque from Peterborough Freemasons, towards joining an expedition to Kenya and Tanzania with 29 schoolmates 10 years ago.

Keziah (15) from Sutterton, was one of 30 students from Spalding High School who had to raise £2,000 before flying to Africa to help build a school.
