A 15-year-old Deepings School pupil became head teacher for the day and showed the chairman of the county education committee around the school.
Amy Stubbs' first act as head was to declare a future non-uniform day!
Amy's mum Lynn won the day-long headship deal at an auction organised by the school's parent-teacher association.
Dr David Bryars - the usual head teacher - said: "Amy thoroughly enjoyed the day and did very well."
