Flower Parade takes place in bright sunshine

Sunny Spalding was awash with colour as the crowds came out to watch the Flower parade.

Thousands flocked to see the famous parade weave its way through the streets, then were dazzled by the floral delights at Springfields.

parade organiser David Norton said: "If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be 'glorious'. It's amazing what Spalding can do when everybody gets behind something."
