Young cross-country runners from Deeping St James Primary School performed well in wet and muddy conditions, with both boys and girls finishing fourth overall at Peterborough AC's primary schools championships.
Head teacher Steve Cole said; "They did well. They put a tremendous amount of effort into it, I don't think any of them could have run better."
Eight boys and five girls from years 5 and 6 at the school competed in the second of three races this year.
