The Friends of the Peele School launched a 'fund-saving' rather than 'fund-raising' initiative - starting with cleaning the school's windows.
The school had previously been paying a contractor between £700-800 to do the job and by the Friends doing the job themselves, it meant more money for school educational resources.
They formed a working party and were keen to get more volunteers to take part in the project.
