NOSTALGIA: Brownies in Crowland and Spalding Flower Queen in 2011

Around 75 Brownies celebrated Thinking Day at a craft making session in Crowland Methodist Church.
The Brownies came from across the district and enjoyed making fortune cookies, paper boats and butterfly bookmarks.

Ten years ago this week Daisy Ivatt was crowned the 2011 Spalding Flower Queen.
Daisy (23), from Donington, was head of drama at the Gleed Boys’ School in Spalding and was inspired to enter by her grandad who had always wanted her to be the Flower Queen.
