NOSTALGIA: Spalding Primary School and ACt II in 2011
Youngsters from Spalding Primary School celebrated Chinese New Year ten years ago.
There was a sea of red at the school as children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 wore an item of lucky red clothing.
They also made Chinese lanterns, a dancing dragon and a rabbit to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
A double bill with a difference came to Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding 10 years ago as a cast of young actors performed two plays, in two rooms, at the same time.
Act II Theatre Company ran linked plays The Rescruiting Officer and Our Country’s Good and audiences could go along to either play or see both on different days of the four-night run.
