NOSTALGIA: Sutton St James Cubs and Cowbit Brownies in 1996

Sutton St James took the honours at the annual Holbeach and District Cub Scout five-a-side football tournament 25 years ago this week.

The players, some as young as eight-years-old, showed off their skills against seven other teams.

Cowbit Brownies polished various items brought to the village hall by residents and in doing so raised £31 for Meningitis

Research on their Shine Day 25 years ago this week.
