NOSTALGIA: Young gymnasts and charity effort in Spalding ten years ago




Spalding Gleed Girls’ Technology College had plenty to shout about after competing at the South Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership’s Gymnastics competition ten years ago.

With 17 girls competing, the school won two team titles and several individual accolades.

Rowing across the English Channel for Comic Relief was all in a day’s work for Jamie Forman, an instructor at Everybody’s Gym in Spalding, ten years ago. He rowed over 21 miles in just over two hours, 19 minutes while raising money for the charity.
