Four Spalding students were celebrating ten years ago after winning a national competition.
Spalding High School students Emilie Pell (14), Chloe Hannam (13), Eloise Lawton (14) and Jennifer Turner (14) are pictured with NHS clinical systems trainer Kevin Atterbury after winning the Step into the NHS schools’ competition.
To win, the girls had to research an NHS career opportunity and produce a CV, job description and job advert for the role.
They chose the role of a counselling psychologist and it bagged them a £50 Amazon voucher each!
Three Spalding Guides were busy fundraising after being picked for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan ten years ago.
Olivia Lefley (17, right) and Hannah Pettit (16) had been selected along with their Spalding District Rangers leader Lucy Dean (24).
The trio were among 90 guides nationwide travelling for the international camp.
