NOSTALGIA: Spalding leavers' prom and Weston Hills skipping in 1996
Spalding Year 11 students said goodbye to school in style at a formal prom 25 years ago.
More than 200 pupils from the town’s four secondary schools – Spalding Grammar, Spalding High, Sir John Gleed and Gleed Girls – danced the night away at the South Holland Centre.
Treasurer Ann Savage said: “It was wonderful.”
Children stayed healthy and raised money for charity at the same time by taking part in a sponsored skip for the British Heart Foundation back in 1996.
Pupils at Weston Hills Primary School took part in the event.
The pupils are pictured above, from left: Rachel Thorne (10), Glenn Manuel (7), Rebecca Nightingale (6), Dannielle Bowey (5), Tanya Wilkinson (6), and Laura Cowlen (6).
