NOSTALGIA: Spalding volleyball and netball teams ten years ago

Volleyball Spalding was the latest group to benefit from the partnership between the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Round Table 10 years ago.

Coach Tim Barzycki applied to the fund for £315 to pay for a new set of training balls, to be used in their competitive Lincolnshire League matches.

Spalding Sparks Greens continued their impressive stsrt to the winter seasioin in the Stamford Netball League by upsetting league leaders Vision Express.

A great team performance, led by Lisa Broderick’s exceptional shooting prowess, gave them a 23-15 win to place them joint top.
