NOSTALGIA: Tydd St Mary lessons and Spalding musicians in 2011

Tydd St Mary Primary School found its Family Learning Group was a great way to promote the home-school link, according to head teacher Sonya Ripley.
Parents were looking at the way children learn maths today, and all completed an examination.
A group of young singers from Spalding Parish Church of England Day School benefited from the Lincolnshire Free Press Smile Fund ten years ago this week.
The Choral Group was awarded £340 from the fund set up alongside the Spalding Round Table. The money covered the cost of a trip to the Barnardos concert at London’s Wembley Arena.
