NOSTALGIA: Moulton Chapel parade and Holbeach careers advice in 2011

Students who would soon be thinking about their future careers had a glimpse into the world of employment 10 years ago.

Several local firms were involved in an industry day staged by Holbeach’s George Farmer Technology and Language College.

The event at the school – now University Academy Holbeach – included Bakkavor, and students are pictured with dishes they produced.

Moulton Chapel’s Tuliptime Parade saw a big turnout 10 years ago this week... and lots of fun in the sun.

Pictured are the Harmony Majorettes who were one of many acts entertaining the crowds at the event, which had been going for more than 30 years.

Tuliptime chair Eddy Poll said: “It was a brilliant day.”
