Crowland runners and Sutton Bridge at Easter in 1996

Crowland St Guthlac student Darren Wells was voted the school’s overall cross country champion after being chosen to represent the county 25 years ago.

Year 9 student Darren was given the honour to mark his many sporting achievements and is pictured with other runners from the school.

Spring arrived for two-year-old Sarah Wheatley as her beautiful Easter bonnet picked up a top prize 25 years ago.

Her floral creation won the junior competition at Sutton Bridge village hall, which was a church fundraiser.
