NOSTALGIA: West Pinchbeck pancakes and Holbeach Hurn winter Olympics in 1996

Residents of West Pinchbeck celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a traditional pancake party back in 1996. The party was organised by the village hall committee and held in the hall, with money raised going towards its upkeep.

The weather was just right for playgroup youngsters at Holbeach Hurn as they enjoyed their own version of the Winter Olympics 25 years ago. Holbeach Hurn village hall was transformed into ski slopes and bobsleigh runs as the children were put through their paces.
