Crews from Lincoln, North Hykeham and Market Rasen called out to fire at Lincoln Cathedral
Crews have been called out to a fire at Lincoln Cathedral.
The ‘small fire’ was attributed to an electrical fault.
The incident occurred at 10.26am this morning.
“Lincoln South Fire Station, Lincoln North Fires Station, North Hykeham Fire Station Waddington crew and Market Rasen Fire Station attended Lincoln Cathedral for a small fire in the electrical unit of the choir stall lights,” a Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue statement read.
“Crews used a thermal imaging camera and small tools to inspect. Caused by an electrical fault.”
