Furniture Village opens in Lincoln in former home of Anglia Home Furnishings

The country’s largest independent furniture retailer has opened a branch in Lincoln today (Friday).

Furniture Village opened at unit 7 on Valentine Retail Park, off Tritton Road, this morning after City of Lincoln Council approved an application for external signage promoting the business.

The unit was formerly occupied by Anglia Home Furnishings, which offers a very similar product to that of Furniture Village — a retailer specialising in home comforts and accessories for your house.

It will join the likes of Next, TK Maxx and Asda Living on the popular retail park in central Lincoln.

This Lincoln site is the first Furniture Village unit in the county and its opening has created nine jobs.

The company says the store “boasts an immersive layout and a variety of creative roomsets”.

Charlie Harrison, managing director at Furniture Village, said: “We are incredibly excited to open the doors to our newest store in Lincoln. Valentine Retail Park is a popular shopping destination for furniture and homeware and so it was the ideal choice for Furniture Village.

“Our new store will showcase our beautiful and unique furniture and accessories for every room in the home, with each piece hand-picked by our expert team of buyers and sourced from across the globe.”
