Lincoln United, Grantham Town, Gainsborough and Stamford games to still go ahead today in the football, despite the poor weather
Rain has caused issues in the area for sporting events as many have been cancelled.
However, at least four football games are going ahead across Lincolnshire according to their host clubs.
Lincoln United's FA Vase round three clash has been confirmed by the club as a go, with Congleton making the journey over from Cheshire.
The Whites said they are looking forward to welcoming fans to The Sun-Hat & Villas Resort Stadium for the 3pm kick-off today (Saturday, December 9).
Also still in play at the time of publication is Grantham Town's clash against league leaders Stockton Town in the Northern Premier League Division One East.
It is the first game for The Gingerbreads under new boss Steve Kirkham who was previously in charge at Newark FC.
Stockton Town will travel to the Meres today (December 9) and will be looking to take it to the hosts in what should be a game that sees a few goals scored (kick-off 3pm).
Stamford’s home match with Halesowen in the Southern League Premier Division Central Division is still going ahead as is Grantham’s game with Stockton at the South Kesteven Stadium.
Following a precautionary pitch inspection at 10am, the pitch at Gainsborough Trinity has been ruled currently playable.
The fixture against Ilkeston Town has been given the green light and will still be on.
