Juice bar to open in Lincoln shop which has been empty for five years

A shop that has been empty for five years will soon be occupied by a new juice bar.

Signage at 2 St Peter At Arches in Lincoln, situated between CEX and Greggs along the High Street, suggests that Bloom Juice Co will be ‘coming soon’ with a new store for the city.

The site has been empty since 2019, previously hosting tech repair shop Fone Doctor, and Gametronics before that.

There appears to be no sign of an application on City of Lincoln Council’s planning portal, but indicators suggest the site’s preparation is well underway.

Bloom Juice Co’s website also confirms that a site will be ‘coming soon’ on Lincoln High Street, along with stores in Derby, Manchester, Sheffield and more.

But no official opening date can be found.

The company, according to its website, is ‘all about helping our communities to Bloom with a delicious on-the-go range of smoothies and juices, packed with goodness’.

It appears to be a fairly new business, with just one post on its social media channels dating back to last week.

If Bloom Juice is to open in this area, it will be part of a recent refresh for that section of the High Street, which has seen the likes of Lisbon Toasties, Fridays and Glory Holes open in recent times.

These will soon be followed by Indian street food restaurant chain Mowgli — which was granted approval at the former Two Seasons site last year.
