Lincolnshire Football association to hold free event for anyone involved or interested in grassroots football
A county football association will be welcoming people to have their say at an event forum this Wednesday (December 13) at Bishop Grossesteste University in Lincoln.
The event hosted by the Lincolnshire Football Association will take place between 6.30pm and 9.30pm with food and refreshments provided.
The meeting will see an overview of the current state of play regarding grassroots football in the county.
The event will be delivered by the new chairman Sir Jonathan Van-Tam and the chief executive officer, Nick Hanson.
There will also be various sessions aligned to clubs and leagues.
These include behaviours in the game, facilities, participation growth/retention, volunteer workforce, and league organisation.
People will need to register to attend the free-of-charge event here.
"The consultation event is open to anyone and everyone that is involved in grassroots football in Lincolnshire," said a spokesman from the Lincolnshire Football Association.
"Whether you be a player, coach, referee, welfare officer, club/league secretary, grounds person, media person, volunteer, or anything in between, we hope to see you there."
