Man and woman arrested after reports of firearm and threats to kill outside Lincoln chip shop
A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm - following reports of an altercation where it is alleged that threats to kill were made.
Lincolnshire Police’s force control room received a call from a member of the public who reported an incident taking place on Woodhall Drive in Lincoln between the Co-op and Fish King units at 11.54am on Saturday (May 24).
“A man is alleged to have produced what was reported to be a firearm from a rucksack, making threats to kill,” a police statement said.
“A member of the public intervened before the suspect rode off on an e-bike.”
A 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman have been arrested.
“Did you witness or capture this altercation via CCTV or dashcam? We would like to hear from you as you might hold vital information for our investigation,” the police statement added.
