Online hustings organised by LincsOnline owner Iliffe Media and Reach will give Greater Lincolnshire mayoral candidates chance to answer your questions
Candidates standing in the forthcoming Greater Lincolnshire mayoral election will have the chance to answer your questions in an online hustings later this month.
Newspaper companies Iliffe Media and Reach are jointly hosting the event on Wednesday, April 23, giving candidates the opportunity to debate key issues and respond to questions from the county’s Local Democracy Reporters, James Turner and Jamie Waller.
The hustings will be hosted by Natalie Fahy, audience and content director for the East Midlands at Reach. It will begin at 2pm and will be broadcast live on both companies’ Facebook pages.
Ahead of the debate, we’re inviting readers to submit questions for the candidates. Please email your questions to james.turner@iliffemedia.co.uk by 5pm on Monday, April 21, using the subject line: Question for Mayoral hustings.
The six candidates hoping to become the first mayor of Greater Lincolnshire are:
Sally Horscroft – Green Party
Andrea Jenkyns – Reform UK
Marianne Overton – Lincolnshire Independents
Jason Stockwood – Labour
Rob Waltham – Conservative
Trevor Young – Liberal Democrat
