Police appeal for help identifying man following assault in Lincoln

Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man they would like to speak to in connection with an ongoing investigation into a report of assault.

The incident occurred in the Carousel Bar on Lincoln’s High Street on April20.

A victim sustained serious facial injuries.

“We have been investigating since this was reported, and this is the latest line of enquiry we want to follow - and we need your help,” a Lincolnshire Police statement said.

“We are not asking for witnesses to the incident, we are asking for information as to who this person is and their whereabouts. We have exhausted all other lines of inquiry. We believe he may be from the Grimsby area.
