Two reports of indecent exposure outside old Toys R Us store in Lincoln

Police are asking for information following two reports of indecent exposure outside a former Toys R Us store.

The incidents, reported by separate witnesses, occurred in St Marks, Lincoln, on Friday (November 15).

“In the first, a woman was walking at around 9.55pm from the Pure Gym to her car that was parked outside the old Toys R Us store,” a Lincolnshire Police statement said.

“As she got into her car a man came from behind the vehicle, approached the driver’s window and then was seen masturbating. When she began to get out of the car, the man ran off.

“Around five minutes later a second victim was walking with a friend from the Pure Gym, again towards the old Toys R Us store. They then saw a man stood on the footpath next to Burger King, who was facing them and masturbated.”

Police say the man is believed to have travelled by bicycle between St Marks and Dixon Street.

“We are urgently appealing to anyone who saw him, who has CCTV in those areas, or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, to contact us,” police added.

“If you saw suspicious behaviour around this time, please get in touch as your information could be crucial to our investigation.”

The man has been described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, with a large belly.

He was wearing a bandana wrapped around his face pulled up to his eyes, and a thick grey puffa-style jacket with a zip on the front – the jacket had been fully zipped up.

He was also wearing a black skull cap.
