Fine for Louth woman who called neighbours ‘slag’ and ‘paedophile’ and verbally abused police

A woman who labelled neighbours a ‘slag’ and ’paedophile’ as well as verbally abusing police officers has been ordered to cough up more than £250.

Louth resident Jolene Parker admitted three charges of failing to comply with a community protection notice when she appeared before Boston magistrates on Wednesday (August 28).

Prosecutor Paul Wood explained the order had been put in place on June 27 due to the 39-year-old’s anti-social behaviour.

This order included a warning about making inappropriate 999 calls.

Parker, of Wallis Road, failed to comply with the order on June 29 when she called the emergency services number on three occasions to complain of squealing tyres near her home.

A further issue occurred on July 25 when she called a neighbour a ‘f***ing slag’.

The following day she labelled another neighbour a ‘paedophile’.

“Police came and she called them ‘piggy c***s’,” Mr Wood said.

Defending herself, Parker told the court she was the victim of harassment and attacks from her neighbours.

“I had bruising on my face and they stamped on my phone,” she said.

“They’re instigating a lot of it. They’re intimidating me and the police don’t want to know.

“I’m not allowed to tell the police. If I ring them I’m in trouble.”

Unemployed Parker was fined £40 for each offence and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 plus £85 costs.
