Man denies handling stolen goods at Louth valued at almost £10,000




A man has pleaded not guilty to four charges of handling stolen goods valued at almost £10,000.

Kye Hill also denied obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty when he appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (March 12).

The 24-year-old has been accused of handling a a GTM Professional 13000 wood chipper, post knocker, two Kombi Stihl engines and a hedge cutter worth £6,000 and a second charge of handling a Portek Scatterbird gas bun worth £250.

A third charge relates to a Honda quad bike worth £3,000 and a fourth of a fairbang random gas gun worth £250.

The charges are alleged to have taken place at Wyham, near Louth, on August 29 of last year.

Hill, of Curzon Court, Grimsby, will report to Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on May 2 for a case management hearing.
