Louth motorcyclist dies following collision with a car near Sausthorpe, can you help police?




A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car on New Year’s Eve.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to help with their enquiries.

The incident took place near Sausthorpe, between Spilsby and Horncastle.

“We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact us following a collision in which a motorcyclist sadly died,” a police statement read.

“We received a call at 2.53pm (on December 31) from our colleagues at East Midlands Ambulance Service, reporting the incident on the A158 just before the Partney roundabout, near Sausthorpe.

“The collision involved two vehicles, a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a silver Isuzu car.

“The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s from the Louth area, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“We are now appealing for your help as part of our investigation.

“If you have dashcam footage or saw the collision, or have footage of vehicles on the road in the moments leading up to the incident, please contact us:”
