Chip shop customers help raise £1,100 for day centre

George’s fish bar in Cherry Holt Road, Bourne, turns 14 this year.

Owner Georgios Georgiou and his staff wanted to do something special to celebrate the landmark. So they put up a prize wheel outside the shop and invited customers to make a donation in exchange for a spin.

Thanks to generous customers, £1,100 was handed over to The Butterfield Centre.
