Arts for Rutland announces dates for summer exhibition

Artists are invited to submit their entries for a summer exhibition.

Arts for Rutland will host the Rutland Open Art Exhibition at Rutland County Museum from July 12 until August 9.

People can submit up to three pieces of work across the genres of painting, sculpture, printing, pencil drawing, ceramics and glass.

The exhibition is open to people living in Rutland, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire or Cambridgeshire.

Entries must be delivered to Rutland County Museum in Oakham on Saturday, July 5 between midday and 4pm. A panel of judges will decide which pieces to include in the exhibition and a number of prizes will be awarded at a private preview event on Friday, July 1.
