Rutland County Show takes place at Rutland Showground in Oakham on June 1




A celebration of rural life and the best of Rutland is returning for the 191st year.

Rutland Showground will be bustling with more activity than ever when the Rutland County Show takes place this weekend.

Whether you’re a returning visitor or a first timer, there will be plenty to see and do throughout the day - and a bigger and better food and drinks offering for when you need to take a break.

The show brings together almost every aspect of rural living and lifestyle, from rural crafts and livestock to the region’s finest farm machinery. There is also a packed programme of family-friendly entertainment including live music, tractor displays, ferrets, scent dog demonstrations, a funfair, sheep show and motorcycle stunt display.

This year’s Rutland County Show takes place on Sunday, June 1 at the Rutland Showground in Oakham from 9am until 5pm.

Advanced discount tickets are available until the evening of Saturday, May 31 or they are sold out, whichever comes first, costing £16 for adults and £2 for children aged five to 15 plus a booking fee from www.rutlandshowground.com

Entry on the gate costs £18 for adults and £3 for children, payable by card only.

A free shuttle bus will run from Oakham and Uppingham to the showground with details of pick-up points available at www.rutlandshowground.com
