Two senior royals will visit several locations in Rutland tomorrow (Tuesday, May 14).
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will visit Rutland Showground, Oakham Castle, Oakham Library and Rutland Water.
There will be an opportunity to see Edward and Sophie at about midday when they visit the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Statue, near Oakham Library.
The showground, castle and library buildings will be closed on the day of the visit.
Catmose Street will also be shut between Mill Street and Stamford Road from 9am to 3pm, with no parking available in bays opposite Oakham Library.
Edward is the youngest brother of King Charles III and became Duke of Edinburgh in March 2023.
Rutland’s most recent royal visitor was the Duke of Gloucester who spent time in Ryhall, South Luffenham and Ketton last summer.
