Rutland Big Christmas Market 2024 returns to The Barnsdale on November 15, 16 and 17




A Christmas market has become a three-day event for the first time this year to bring festive cheer to even more visitors.

The Rutland Big Christmas Market will return to The Barnsdale between Friday, November 15 and Sunday, November 17.

It is hosted by Rutland Women in Business and brings a range of local food and gift stalls under one roof.

Also new for this year are performances by local groups and a visit from Father Christmas.

Organiser Charlie Pallett said: “After last year's astonishing success, this year's market is poised to take the excitement to new heights. We’be got more than 90 stalls celebrating local small businesses and charities.”

Members of the Emily Redding Dance Academy, the Jazettes and Wildcats and scheduled to perform throughout the weekend, while Father Christmas will be available for children to meet for free between 10am and 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by The Lions Club of Rutland.

The market runs from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, November 15 and from 9.30am until 4pm on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 at The Barnsdale, located between Oakham and Whitwell.

Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for children and free for under 5s. They must be booked in advance from www.rutlandcreative.co.uk/events
