Don’t forget to have your say on travel in Rutland
Rutland residents are being asked to give their views and any suggestions for improvements, in a travel survey that has been posted to all homeowners in the county.
It is part of a wide-ranging review of local transport, with the county council asking residents to fill in the survey to help them better understand the needs of people living and working in Rutland.
The comprehensive survey asks a variety of questions, including in relation to access to healthcare services, employment and education.
It also asks about residents’ shopping habits, use of the local bus service, as well as their opinions on road safety and highways maintenance.
Printed surveys were sent out to every household in Rutland at the beginning of this month, and residents have until Monday, March 21 to complete and send it back in the envelope provided. All those who take part will be entered into a free prize draw for the chance to win one of four £50 shopping vouchers.
Although the county council is only mailing out one survey per household, more than one person can fill it in. Extra copies can also be obtained by calling the transport team on 01572 758 205 or by e-mailing travel4rutland@rutland.gov.uk
Alternatively, the surveys can be picked up from the council offices, libraries or Oakham bus station.
In addition, the survey is available to complete online via Survey Monkey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/rutlandtravelsurvey
