Arts 4 Rutland launches youth art exhibition

Young artists are being encouraged to submit their work for an exhibition.

Arts for Rutland is running the Rutland Youth Open Art Exhibition again this spring.

Artists aged between 11 and 18 can enter up to three pieces in any media, including paint, sculpture, print and pencil.

Organiser Joy Everitt said: “We look forward to seeing as many entries as possible and to putting on the exhibition to celebrate the fantastic local young talent that exists in Rutland.”

Entries should be delivered to Rutland County Museum in Oakham on Monday, March 18 between midday and 4pm to be reviews by judges and whittled down for the exhibition. Chosen pieces will be on show at the museum between March 23 and April 27.
