Personal therapist hired by Strictly Come Dancing couple joins Rutland Hall Hotel

A ‘well-being expert’ who was hired to help a Strictly Come Dancing couple has joined the team at a country hotel.

Kerry Summers is to head up Four Roots Wellbeing at Rutland Hall.

With the wellbeing site undergoing a major refit, Kerry’s initial role will be to recruit and train a team of therapists for a range of bespoke treatments at Four Roots which promotes spiritual, physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

“I am excited to be overseeing the launch, managing the ongoing development and growing the team to deliver this brand-new concept,” said Kerry.

“Four Roots Wellbeing will offer a gender-neutral, holistic escape from daily life where guests will be guided along a unique, curated four-hour journey combining a mix of bathing, wellbeing treatments, meditation, a sensory refresh and dining.”

Kerry’s extensive spa, salon and retail experience includes running her own local salon, working with high profile spa groups, and sitting on an expert panel for a professional beauty magazine.

She also spent a year on tour as a personal therapist to professional dance couple, Flavia Cacace Mistry and Vincent Simone on their Dance Til Dawn show.

“Whilst touring, my role was to perform massage, facials and other treatments on the couple, cast, crew and orchestra. It was great fun,” she said.

Adrian Pickard, director and general manager of Rutland Hall Hotel, added: “Four Roots is pivotal to our ongoing commitment and investment in Rutland Hall and our vision to continually enhance the guest experience and the vitality of our resort.”

All new therapists are required to hold level three certification and will receive full training on all specialist wellbeing treatments.
