Man’s body found in garden at Jinky’s pub in Melton Road, Oakham

A man has been found dead in a pub garden.

Police officers were called to Jinky’s Bar in Melton Road, Oakham, at about 8.45am yesterday (Sunday, March 10) following a report of a man having been found.

An ambulance crew also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A file is being prepared for the coroner and the man’s formal identification will be a matter for them.
