Leicestershire Police make arrest after crash closes Manton Road at Edith Weston, in Rutland

A man has been arrested after a Friday lunchtime crash.

Leicestershire Police said a man had been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention after a two-vehicle crash near Rutland Water.

The crash was reported at 12.15pm and took place on the Manton Road between Weston Road and Derwent Avenue at Edith Weston.

The road remained closed at 3pm while officers remained at the scene, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.
