A606 closed between Whissendine and Langham following fire in Pickwell

The A606 is still closed this morning following a fire in Pickwell.

The road is closed between the junction of Whissendine Road and the junction just outside of Langham and will remain closed until further notice.

Drivers are asked to avoid this area or follow the diversion through Whissendine.

Police reported that Leicestershire Fire and Rescue had been called to a fire in Stygate Lane in Pickwell after 6pm last night.
