Siblings Will and Beth Griffiths from Oakham School enjoyed a triumphant time at the County Athletics Championships.
They each claimed victory in their respective events and demonstrated outstanding athletic talent and determination.
Their efforts were lauded by Trefon Vandoros who is director of athletics at Oakham School.
He said: "Will and Beth's dedication and competitive spirit are a fantastic example to the whole school.
"Bringing home two county titles is a tremendous achievement and we're incredibly proud of them."
Year eight pupil Beth began the weekend in impressive style by winning the Under-15 800m.
Competing as a bottom-age athlete, Beth executed a smart tactical race, initially following the leader before taking charge halfway through.
Despite being challenged with 200 metres remaining, she summoned a strong final sprint to secure the gold medal with a time of twp minutes 30 seconds.
Year 11 Will followed shortly afterwards in the Under-17 800m, competing in a highly competitive field.
He delivered a personal best performance, finishing fourth with a time of two minutes four seconds, narrowly missing out on a podium place behind the winner, who clocked two minutes one second.
Will then continued his excellent form by successfully defending his Under-17 1,500m title.
Taking the lead early in the race, he maintained control and surged ahead with 300 metres to go, crossing the finish line in four minutes 18 seconds to retain his county crown.
Despite battling a persistent foot injury, Beth showed remarkable resilience in the Under-15 1,500m, pushing through the discomfort to secure third place with a time of five minutes 20 seconds — rounding off an impressive weekend of competition.
