Man, 60, charged with murder after Skegness death




A 60-year-old man has been charged with murder after an incident earlier this week.

David Lupton, 60, of Grosvenor Road, Skegness is accused on killing 57-year-old Rhys Howell, also of Grosvenor Road.

Mr Lupton will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (August 23).

Police had been called out to an altercation at a property on Grosvenor Road at 6.52pm on Monday and arrived to find Mr Howell with serious injuries.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene, but died a short while later.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We continue to appeal for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our investigation.”
