Man arrested on suspicion of murder following incident in Skegness
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident last night.
Police were alerted to an altercation at a property on Grosvenor Road, Skegness, at 6.52pm yesterday (August 19).
“On arrival, officers found a Mr Rhys Howell, 57-years-old, with serious injuries,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
“He was treated by paramedics at the scene, but sadly died a short while later.”
A 60-year-old man is being held in police custody.
Police say the victim’s family have been notified and ‘would ask for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time’.
