Two people taken to hospital following plane crash near Skegness Water Leisure Park in Ingoldmells




Two people have been taken to hospital after a plane crashed near a seaside resort.

Emergency services, including Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Lincolnshire Police and EMAS, were called to the incident just before 1pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 19) near Skegness Water Leisure Park, Walls Lane, Ingoldmells.

The ambulance service has confirmed that two people were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham following the crash. They are not thought to have life altering or life threatening injuries.

One was taken via air ambulance and the other via a crewed ambulance.

East Midlands Ambulance Service sent a LIVES emergency first responder, paramedic and two ambulances to the scene after they were called to the incident.
