Sleaford Town in the United Counties League Premier Division North look for a friendly this weekend after cup times and bad weather leave them without a game for an extended period
A football team are looking to plug the hole caused by match postponements with a friendly game this weekend.
The postponements have been due to a combination of poor weather and scheduled cup ties.
Sleaford Town who compete in the United Counties League Premier Division North competition have not played since November 22.
The joint management team of Tom Ward and Nathan Arnold are now looking to organise a friendly for this coming weekend to get their side some much-needed minutes in the legs.
"Due to our prolonged period of postponements, we are looking for a friendly this Saturday with a 2PM or 3PM kick-off," said a club spokesman.
"A referee and 4G surface have already been booked."
