Man from Holdingham faces jail over charges relating to class A drugs cocaine and MDMA - and supplying laughing gas
A man faces jail after he admitted dealing in Class A drugs and supplying laughing gas.
Sam Mayall, 26, of Peake Close, Holdingham, admitted two charges of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply others when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.
Those charges related to cocaine and MDMA - commonly known as ecstasy - and both occurred on 18 June 2022.
Mayall also pleaded guilty to possessing the Class B drug ketamine with intent to supply others on the same date.
He further admitted a fourth charge of supplying the psychoactive substance nitrous oxide - commonly known as laughing gas - between 1 June and 18 June 2022.
Neil Sands, defending, said Mayall had entered his guilty pleas on a basis that he was receiving threats from another individual known to the prosecution.
"Those are contained on a mobile phone in the possession of the police," Mr Sands added.
Mr Sands also asked for sentence on Mayall to be adjourned for the preparation of a probation report.
"This is a young man who has not been to custody before, and these offences are some time ago," Mr Sands explained.
"At all the relevant time he was addicted to ketamine.
"Although custody may well be inevitable I would ask for a pre-sentence report to deal with his ADHD and autism."
Mayall was granted unconditional bail for the preparation of a probation report and will be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on 18 November.
Adjourning his case, Recorder John Philpotts told Mayall: "As has been rightly conceded by your barrister it is likely you will receive a custodial sentence, but all options are open to the sentencing judge."
