Lincolnshire Police investigate Texel lambs stolen from Heckington




Two Texel lambs have been stolen from a field.

The animals - a sturdy, square-face breed - were tagged with identification numbers UK047178100028 and UK017178100030.

They were stolen on Monday night (July 29) or early on Tuesday morning (July 30) from a field in Heckington, near Sleaford.

Police officers are asking for information to assist their investigation.

A police spokesperson said: “As with most things that are stolen the owner is devastated and we are trying our best to locate them.

“If you have been offered these lambs for sale or have any credible knowledge of where they may be please contact our control room on 101 quoting incident 109 of July 30.”
