Pinchbeck residents enjoy ‘fantastic’ afternoon at VE Day celebration
Visitors enjoyed a ‘fantastic’ afternoon of VE Day celebrations at a village event – which was opened by 100 year-old Lorna Webb.
Residents of Pinchbeck came together to mark the special anniversary on Monday (May 5).
Due to wet weather the street party was moved inside to the village hall, but that didn’t stop attendees having a good time.
A well-known resident in the village, Lorna Webb, who recently celebrated her 100th birthday, opened the event and visitors enjoyed music, games and a range of food and drinks.
It was partly funded by Pinchbeck Land Trust.
